What would you do if your m-rod arrived like this?

This arrived a couple of minutes before Crosman offices closed for the weekend. My first PCP.
The FedEx driver asked if I wanted to refuse delivery, but I accepted it.
Tried to operate the bolt and it wouldn't budge. Applied over 50 pounds of upward pull figuring there was nothing to loose. Noticed the plunger assembly didn't look like anything in any photo's or manuals. The finish on the plunger assembly looks like crap. It was backed out too much as visible in photo. Tightening it down some released the bolt and it operates but it's going to need some work.
Ordered it from one of the biggest corporations that I would normally never do business with but price was too good.
My thoughts are to talk with Crosman. I don't have a way to air it up until FedEx delivers a compressor on Monday, hoping it arrives in better condition.

Very unfortunate all you can do now is contact Crosman to see how you should handle it. I would have refused delivery takes most of the headache out of my hands but that is just me. Again sorry this happened to you. I would not air it up or do anything more based upon what you have already done again that’s just me and you are asking advice.

UPS, FedEx, USPS ... worst to best in my experience. I put most of the fault on the seller if not properly boxed and or doubled boxed. Why? Because those working for the carriers simply don't care with a low paycheck and max hours moving those boxed pkgs around. Even with double boxing, some sellers barely put anything between the second box over the factory. Nothing irritates me more than getting an expensive item with a shipping label slapped on the factory product box. How many of you actually get the product packed and shipped by the seller to what the carriers shipping specifications are? If you look at eBay's policies for sellers (least the last time I ran into issues), regardless of what the carrier does to the pkg, its the sellers responsibility for getting that item to you as described. I'd have to say, I do like that policy very very much. Here is a package containing my Taipan Vet Compact, imagine the feeling getting this from UPS? I personally do my best to over do the packaging, thats been a win-win for me. I also tend to lean towards some gambling done by both the sellers and carriers in this process too. Regardless of my 2 cents, yeah that sucks and I hope the seller and or carrier will make it right for you.

While I filed complaints with both companies, FedEx still marks it as not delivered, and WTFmart won't start a return because it is not listed as delivered. I guess I shouldn't have called either and said "where is it?".
Yes, double boxing with padding should be mandatory. I used to work for a small business that did huge amounts of UPS shipping. They wouldn't insure the shipment unless the packaging met certain guidelines. Simply double boxing with padding wasn't always enough to meet their basic coverage of up to $100 if there was a reason to believe that if it were dropped, it would break.
I've left a review on WTFmart's site blaming the management for making the decision to not ship it correctly. I doubt they will publish the review. If I return it, Crosman will have to repair it and sell it to another party to sell as refurbished.
I'll call Crosman on Monday and see what they recommend, and will suggest that this is going to happen as long as they keep shipping them not properly packaged to survive what normally happens in shipping.

Bought a FT model last week from a reputable source and used that box to return the parts and broken box in.
Returned to a FedEx location, too much time on phone with WTFMart.
BTW if anyone isn't aware, the newer Turkish stocks come with a 6mm thread / 3mm hex bolt size grub bolt for holding the cheek weld piece. Not as described in manual or through Crosman support.
If you have the option, replace them with higher quality. Local wholesale shop said "grade 8 only, do you have a dollar bill?"
