What would your dream airgun be if you had a giant company to R&D it?

EASY CHOICE!

BB helped dub the consistently 1/8" moa 420257 cast slug spitter as

The Scandalous. Built by Jack Hailey and perfected by his Son in law,

Mr. John Bowman.
They're available in ANY caliber.

Since long range slugs have become a interest to me, I'd go with this guy.
Not everyone's cup of tea. But I love airguns that are built like tanks on a ingenious rigid tank of a platform, and hit what you're aiming at.
32tpi 3 full inches of 96 tapered slugs with 0.0005" tolerance.
Yeah, I misunderstood. Threads have NO tolerance and CAN'T be Cerakoted. Mine has a green BR style stock.
I'm not a BP person & I shoot tethered with a step down in-line reg.
So this dream gun is my reality. I'm even having "Reva" laser engraved in honor of the family, and the hours she'd spend talking with me.

I've been thinking that the new PCP guns have a bulkier shorter style. People are more comfortable with that visual now than we were when most guns had a more classic look. This might be a good time for a vendor to try something with a short stroke large diameter gas ram. I'm thinking (speculating) there might be room in that power plant for as much or more power than the current crop of springers and the short stroke might be easier to tame WRT accuracy. Someone might must come up with a gas ram rifle that is inherently more accurate than the current crop? Now before you jump all over the idea... Look up there in bold in parenthesis... and go for it.

Easy question. Taipan Veteran set up like a Daystate Revere. Still dreaming of some company to realize what a beautiful rifle this will be.

Mitch

Not sure of your meaning, since one is a bull pup and one a rifle. I admire the Taipan design with treaded barrel shank. It is also much more user friendly for fine tuning adjustment, and has one of the best magazine designs in the business. Both great products.

I'm sure I'm im the minority, but I would like to see an electromic operating system (Red Wolf), paired with a precision mechanical trigger (Anschutz 5018), and regulator.

I'd rather not have a giant Co do it! They'll just put out massed produced blah blah so so airguns... They can never get it right.

Now a one man shop putting out Art combined with precision, with everything in it Done Right - (Done Right is my career business name BTW) - to the nats ass, oh yeah that's what I dream of, and in about 3 months I'll have it!!! Along with a custom designed one off highly figured walnut stock made just for me. Oh boy, aye!

The best example of art and precision that I’ve seen were rifles made by Gary Barnes. Here’s one of his beauties: 150 fpe .25. Im sure there are others that can produce rifles just as accurate or well built but when it comes to creating art AND precision, no one does it better than Gary
