I always used a Bsa r10 12” barrel and an airforce. Always had problems trying to get the fix boss out the window so that was my rabbit gun

I would go with Airforce. I have the escape SS and they are built like a tank. I had a house fire and it survived. Still shot like it was brand new. I would get the condor. You will get more shots. They are accurate, quiet and lifetime warranty.

Cometa Orion is good, made in Spain $429 on their outlet store (Air Force International) and has a cold forged barrel and they hit hard.

Whoever told you that is full of crap. That’s the most rediculous thing I’ve ever heard. There are so many offerings under $500 these days, there is NO reason to spend that kind of money for a starter pcp that will spend its days getting banged up in a truck. All here have given you plenty of great options. As far as not finding things in stock? I gave you the gamo options, and not only are they in stock at gamo USA, but pyramyd air has them too. The marauder is also in stock in synthetic stock version, as is the avenger and other budget guns. I guess it depends on where and what you’re looking for, but a quite a few options that were given to you are indeed in stock!

I’ll let you know when it gets here. Lol. Gamo USA is running a little behind on orders it looks like. It was just shipped out yesterday. Due to my door Friday from FedEx (which as you know can be a problem with FedEx). So I guess we’ll see. A regulator is definitely in my future though. I owe it to the BSA barrel to do it!
However, the wildcat you did for me is shooting lights out! I got my first chipper the other day, and blew him back like 15’ from where he was perched!! It has become much heavier though, so it’ll definitely be my go to for raccoon and above, but the urban will be my woods walker for sure!
