N/A Whats everyones prefered tool/method for honing/de-burring a main tube?

For cocking slot and other cross holes behind the compression area .... BALL HONE
Within compression area ... 3 stone brake cylinder hone when required.
Motorhead,
Do you use a power drill to spin the hone in the compression chamber?
Are you trying to achieve a nice crosshatch finish? Or just de burr?

BTW I am still enjoying the Marauder you put the regulator and tuned for me about 5 years ago or so.

Thanks.

So go slow got it. I was looking for a better/faster/less stoopid method than my "ball of paper towel taped to a cleaning rod with sandpaper glued to it and tossed in a drill" method and this definitely seems like a winner. Thank you for the help everyone
I've been doing the cleaning rod in the drill thing thing with 600grit sandpaper and then 1500grit and then 14000grit stropping compound. Got the job done and got it done real nice, but is a major pain.

My understanding has been you don't want to go too polished on the compression tube because moly paste needs something to adhere to. I do go finer on the piston and spring ends but never anything finer than 1500.
