whats the best budget moderator for avenger .22?

Buck rail seems legit for $40.00 shipped... One good thing with plastic is its light.....terminator LDC makes plastic and carbon fiber ones too....

awesome,but then you need an adapter so then your up to $100. been looking at these internal baffle moderators. what do you think? any ideas or experience? thanks

Air Venturi has recently begun sending out Avengers with a new end cap design that has a very basic stacked washer-style baffle attached. You just want to be using the endcap with this monocore baffle.

The buckrail for the avenger screws into the shroud and if you put 2 very small holes in the shroud near the receiver end it will be even quieter. I think they're around the $30 mark.

You are going to add 4 or 5 inches of length to a gun which is already reasonably quiet when tuned correctly? Go with the insert and add the two .0625" holes to the rear of the shroud... but before you do any drilling give that insert a shot.

No need for a adapter. All you need to do is unscrew the end cap and also remove the shroud bushing. The ldc replaces all of that. It only adds about 4 inches to the length.
