What's the deal with Falcon scopes???

If you are looking at the Falcon T50i it is manufactured in China which is why it is about half as expensive as other Falcon scopes. They seem to be much more popular in Europe. There is a youtube review on the T50i that is very favorable from an air rifle target shooter. It is a 34mm tube and quite heavy but it seems like a good choice for a pure target scope. It's also supposed to have good "snap" on the parallax which may make it good for HFT. I do not have one but have been looking at it. Pyramid has the older 10-50 model, I've been hoping they will get the T50i.

I have the Falcon X50T (target version), I grab it from Krales back in time during Brexit separation.
Mechanical parts coming from the same production line as the top Sightrons, but the glass is made in Japan vs Philipines for Sightron line of scopes.
I had a chance to compare it side by side with couple Sightrons in my club, and I am very proud of my choice.
I am dual purposing it between my Impact and my f-class 308, but eventually I will buy the latest Falcon FT version for the Impact, probably from the same source.

For me shooting FT, my Falcon was a less expensive option compared to a Sightron.

Yeah, don’t know why you don’t see a lot of them used in competition compared to Sightrons. For a Sightron You do have the option of getting a lighted reticle (no lighted reticle option for the 50x Falcon).

But ranging and clarity… it’s a wash. Temp sensitivity ? No data for me on that

Springer rated? My Falcon is suspect after being on a sub-12FPE springer for 6years? I’ll need to do more testing to see if something shifted.

Warranty 5 years? Sightrons are life-time so no contest there.

Are Falcon scopes any good? Hmmm for me I would spend a little more to get a better warranty and the option of a lighted reticle from a Sightron.

I stand corrected...I just googled Falcon's website...they currently offered "no charge, no time limit warranty" ... When I bought their scope from PA 7-9 years ago? I was told it was 5 years.

My Falcon is 10 years warranty...if I last that long...
I can confirm that for a $1000 piece price the Falcon glass clarity is superior to Sightron. The Sightron only looks better cosmetically.
Ranging @ 50 M is a crisp, at 100 M the DOV starts blending and need a bit of there and back to find a spot.
Sightron owners raise hands who can zoom in to a full power of x50.... the Falcon can do that.
