What's the scoop on evanix?

Airgun pro shops is the new dealer for the Evanix line. Ive got a few of their offerings but the parts support or complete lack of really hinders their sales here in North America . If you want a rifle with comparable power to a Hatsan but with better build quality and in a lighter platform Evanix is for you. They make hunting rifles , not going to win any bench rest competitions with them although the rifles I own are quite accurate with both pellets and bullets. The two in the top pic are from Evanix, a K550 in .22 and a heavily modified Windy City MKI also in .22 . The middle two in the second pic are a Winchester mod 70 , converted to .257 caliber in a Ruger 10-22 stock and the other is a .25 Air Speed ( semi auto ) . Yes you can say I like the Evanix products .

Accurate, light for size and power, and far more than expected. One would have to extensively mod most ag's to get their power level.

Beautifully designed stocks, but brittle dry Asian Walnut. Good barrels, and

lend themselves to extensive mods. I have .223, .250 .257 and .172 barrels for mine. It is a tack driver.

Now for the bad. Terrible parts availability. Seems Evanix has of late completely forsaken the U.S. Market. No parts available any where. Hobby and I make our own, ans as he has a lathe, makes parts for me as well.

We both installed .223 barrels liners from Brownells Gun Smithing Supply. , and they shoot lights out.

The pic is one shot to check scope and adjust, and 5 on target at 80 yards, with MP .25 cal slugs at 93o fps.
