Daystate What's your opinion on the Daystate Griffin....

I been looking at this rifle for a long while. People who had or still has this rifle what are the best pellets in .177 . How many shots per fill should I get on this rifle?? Anything else that can be told. I understand this is a 7/8 year old rifle but WOW love that stock and that silver color. If I get one going to be a bench only. I have nothing in .177 looking for something to shoot at 50yard in .177.
BUT should I be looking at the newer wolverine in .177??? Opinions please....thanks...

The stocks are wonderful. The action and gun are no different from any other huntsman. They are not regulated and are a bolt gun. Both of these can affect value as most people today consider them requirements. A regulator can be purchased for about $100.00. Be aware though that there will be no high pressure gauge. The gauge on the gun now will read reg pressure only. The bolt doesn't bother me but does not provide the mechanical advantage of the sidelever.

The Griffin IS an absolutely beautiful gun though.
If you want to enjoy it and have something a bit more exclusive, the Griffin is great.

In all other respects the Wolverine is a superior gun.
Sidelever, far improved breach build and design, regulated, and more powerful! You can probably find one even cheaper as well!
