I checked hunting but that doesn’t really tell the whole story of what my total pleasure is. Guns, bows or airguns, it’s all about the process. The process starts when I see a platform and decide what I want to do with it. Once at my house it’s about how I can extract the most out of it and get it to meet my standards. I have the utmost respect for animals. When I hunt them, I don’t pest, I hunt pests, I want my gun or bow to be performing at its peak. The process of getting to peak performance can sometimes be very frustrating with all kinds of weapons because of my standards. If I’m not completely satisfied with a weapon and my ability with it, I won’t hunt with it until I am. That’s why I have a boatload of bows, airguns and real guns. I always have some on inventory that are plateaued and grab and go.

Not into target shooting ( if I shoot paper is to zero a scope or check zero before a hunt ) if I target shoot I use my bow and easily shoot 200+ arrows in a session.

Do not plink, not something that appeal to me.

Yeah basically my airguns are just a tool to hunt.

The after-dinner practice relaxes me—an unexpected benefit.

Whats not fun is high wind days , rain days , yella fly days , knat days, skeeter days, coldrr then a well diggers butt days, hot humid poring sweat days, out a' pellets days ( the worse) .. did i miss somthing

Well I started in field target back when springers ruled. in the last couple of years I’ve been enjoying ( a little too much ) the advancement of air rifles and specifically pcp’s. So bench rest, plinking ,pesting when needed, and practicing field target for my eventual return to the sport which I finally did earlier this month.
