I for sure think the US market is THE market for FX, or any brand airguns really.
So making them look like something many can relate to is understandable, TBH when i first saw it i thought, OMG they made it automatic too, but nope you will have to ratchet it, i just did not see the cocking lever in the first picture i saw.
Do i feel it is a problem / challenge pretending to be American,,, yes i do, it is looking like something that at times are a problem of some size.
Will " they " come after these one day,,,,, well i am sure they will come after airguns before they come after Americans powder burners that’s for damn sure.

Mind you i still envy Americans on their options here, it is a part of me saying Americans are crazy,,,,but it is my kind of crazy, and i do of course not think of myself or Americans as lunatics, we are just different and have different options available to us, this can be calmly debated in both directions.

I respect any man that carry / take upon himself a awesome responsibility of any kind, and do NOT misuse or fail in this task,,,,,, and i am sad i can not get to prove myself likewise, well at least not in some matters.

I have a .22/600mm DRS Classic in the synthetic stock I bought as a squirrel stalking rifle. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I might consider a .25/700mm DRS PRO for benchrest shooting in the near future.
All I can say is, call and ask for Joe, and that I said to mention Airgun Nation. 714-612-5956 (My personal cell)

Maybe if it was semi auto..
I have found that 99% of the semi-auto (with the exception of one made in Europe) are undependable, and most are made in China (at best assembled in USA from Chinese parts). Most copied the Huben, then the LCS, .... etc.. and the quality control for the parts is improving, but still not there. I do carry the European model, as I do believe it is a quality item. Actually, they are now making parts for it in the USA.
