So what gives this an edge over the Panthera Hunter Compact? I own 1 in .30cal & although prior to buying it they claimed the FPE was 107 or 113 coming out of the factory when I got it I had PA do a 10 for 10 on it and they were getting 68 FPE.. I've since turned the reg up to about 150 to 160 now I'm getting around 87 to 90 FPE without any modding of hammer weights or springs or plenum.. just thinking what's the real benefit of this particular model? For the PHC was supposed to fill this kind of Gap now they've since came out with the smaller dynamic with the screw on bottle in the back, now this! Price is very attractive I like the full length picatinny but what's up with the plenum? Size wise and how to tune it apparently you can't tune it on the fly.. which isn't a big deal but while dialing in at the range and trying to hit The Sweet spot looks like one would have to bring a whole tool kit with them LOL. Also what's the total length on the smallest barrel 500 mm? I'm wondering if the dynamic flip to side rear stock adapter would work with this gun. Or if not there's a ton of other companies that build them for ARS already but they're all around 200 bucks especially for US made.. I know the price point is great around a G but after factoring in dressing it up properly for a guys like me who like to go out hunting and don't want to lug around a huge case these little issues and concerns have me wondering. I've looked everywhere and I cannot find the overall length of the smallest version I've been looking for a 22 of something like this was actually thinking about the Kama SLS compact or standard probably the standard because the standard 22 cal in the 25 have like five or so difference in FPE so obviously I go with the 22 if it's coming out with the same power as the 25. My experience with FX they make claims of power that are not quite accurate. Perhaps they think that everyone likes to tune their guns ie; buying hundreds to thousands of dollars of internal parts to squeeze an extra 20 or so FPE out of it.. all marketing cuz I fell victim to it on my hunter compact in 30 cal. Love the gun it's laser beam accurate even with slugs and a 395 mm barrel; which I wanted to get a caliber exchange kit and or heavier liner dedicated to slugs but can't find anywhere! And the gun has been out for over a year seems like FX just likes to make more and more air rifles without keeping them alive with aftermarket goodies. (Well except for the impacts of course) I've been looking for these items for my rig and cannot find anything as far as caliber exchange kits or Superior heavy slug liner I mean come on it's a 30 cal dedicated for hunting! Where's my heavy liner FX?! But back to the new DRS Tactical.. if someone could chime in and let me know about the "Tactical plenum" I mean how big is it and is it any bigger in 25 than it is in 177 or 22? If anyone knows answers to these questions especially about this new particular rifle because I've been looking for a 22 for a while as I said above I love to know A: how long is the overall length of the gun. B: Does the dynamic stock folder work with it? C: how big is the plenum on each caliber? Like I said looking for a 22 that's laser beam accurate around this price point. Also how much does it weigh 6 lb or so like my hunter compact was... (Now it's got to be closer to 12 lb after the scope Saber Tactical top and bottom rails and impulse 1350 moderator laser and led lep laser flashlight. Thanks for the info guys if you do have any I know this thing is relatively new. So whatever help you guys can give me you'll be greatly appreciated TY - Surefire!
I uploaded some pics of mine my current coyote killer have a first focal plane Vortex diamondback 4x14 44 scope, Trijcon MRO red dot, folding mag pull rear stock, Troy industries vertical front fore grip, Forge Tactical under acca rail skeleton foregrip closer so I can flip rifle to the side to use the Red Dot for closer meat/ targets... As well as sight mark green/ir laser, Fenix Led-Lep (laser flashlight) with crazy throw when talking at least two football fields with zero spill... Have at least $1500 into it. Optics being most expensive well the Vortex first focal plane I got for under 500 bucks on a Christmas sale. But the Trijcon MRO was around 800 bucks when I first had it bought for my real AR back 10 years ago. I prefer that particular brand for that's all I use one serving as a Marine in Afghanistan I know their time tested and proven. All in all I love my setup 0 butobviously men wwillill be men and into hunting with air guns more often due to injuries sustained can't handle recoil as good as I used to be able to for my setup while in the Marines was the AR-10 for I love the Winchester 308 cartridge instead of the regular m4 or AR-15 that shoots the nato rounds ... 308's of better stopping power then the .223s well that's what I found to be true after my second tour when got into SF Marine Raiders div. Anyhow thank you for your guys's feedback!
