When a pumper becomes a PCP

Yes I know I'll likely wear the pivot pin but I'll deal with that later. The new Crosman 362 multistroke at 18 pumps can't dump the valve on the first shot so retains pressure. With 15.89 hades I get 2 shots at 622/637 with no pumping between shots. 14fpe with a fairly quick follow-up shot. I call that a win. Obviously I'm going to try for better adding valve volume and a flattop piston valve upgrade and play with hammersprings. Would love 2 matching shots right at 700fps. I'll address the pivot pin to strengthen that but it's all been done before.

You can cut a couple of threads off of the front of the valve assembly to get more volume. You can also shorten the check valve up a bit too at the same.

You will find a metal barrel band and larger pivot pins in one or two of the links below. They will help keep your pivot holes from getting stretched out.

I did both of those already plus a little boring bar to remove the female threads halfway down. Took 30 minutes start to finish and at 25 pumps now I'm at 2 shots 680/702. A pump less or a little more spring we'll see but should be there. I'll definitely be upgrading the pivot pin but looks promising.

Just designed a small spring loaded magazine that allows for a fast follow up shot. Would also work with a Discovery. Only holds a single pellet and attaches to the breech. I'll post pics once it goes from paper to production. I was also able to flip the tune so the first shot was 700fps and second 680. I'll leave it there until the steel breech goes on then retune.
