Sorry, I hear so many opinions on the WHEN and I am still confused....
So maybe with a poll I get a more certain answer.
Thanks for participating. 😊

Sadly if you received pellets made in last 12 months then chances aren't great. The design is prone to skirt damage and JSB might not have enough dies made and wearing them out so their head size and weight have been known to be all over the place. Shoot them and see, you finally got them so what else you can do with them anyways?

Not everybody have access to JTS
Also, the MRD shape and body is more like a hybrid between a pellet and a slug, or better a combination of these two.
I have not seen yet a JTS + MRD side by side.

True but JTS availability is getting better. JTS is basically a clone of the MRD, even you put them side by side it's hard to tell the difference unless you look really closely. In fact JTS's BC seems to be a tiny bit better than the MRD.

I've no idea when they went bad.

My MRD manufactured in 18 and 19 were very good. No complaints.

20 tins purchased later, 22 manufactured, absolutely rubbish.

Have had good results with the latest redesigned, shallow and deep. Out to 65m, 71 or so yards.

RTI's prefer the deep and my Daystate prefers the shallow.

Prophet 2 had a occasional flier but that was probably caused by the rifle acting up.

I've saved a few for testing at 100m, wind and weather hasn't been kind lately.

I'm looking forward to having decent MRD available again.
