When does click value matter in an airgun scope?

.1 mil is 1 cm at 100 meters(110 yards). Can you really shoot groups less than 1 cm(.<4”) at 100 meters?
Nope, not even close to 1 cm on my best day.

Making a 10 shot 1" group @ 100 yards and nudging the average center of that group is more specific than 0.36" per click. Studying the group will also show the mode, most common hit, which will be even smaller than the overall 1" group size, making an even finer adjustment.

... and then there is the reference grid you are adjusting to. Common targets are overwhelming 1" grids (4 or 8 clicks in MOA <3 in MIL).
