Where have all the Daystate .177 Magazines Gone?!?

Does anyone have any insight into the Daystate .177 magazine shortage for the Pulsar/Renegade/Red Wolf? Over the weekend I had my only .177 magazine for my Renegade give up the ghost only to find these are now made of Unobtainium and even the older style cannot be found. I'm breaking in a new Renegade and as we know the older style magazine wears the pellet probe until it's worn in. I had the cam in the magazine over-rotate into an unrecoverable state.

I picked up a CARM magazine and have a classified ad out there but... where have all the magazine's gone? Not even the newer style or older style are available anywhere I've looked even across the pond in the UK.

PS: Sell me your .177 Daystate magazine if it's the metal older style version :) :)

I hope you get some from PaAirGunner! I too have struggled to get some of the older style mag in ,177. One vender had one left in stock and when I got it the body was made out of plastic (not metal). Finally directly contacted Daystate and they had some in stock that they sold me even though it was listed "out of stock" on their website. They even discounted them BUT they charged me an absurd amount to ship them to the USA. I also mentioned one that I had that broke and they were happy to send me an extra one under warranty so I have a spare. Since I personally prefer the older style magazines AND the index pin system, I purchased a bunch of the replacement index pins so I dont have to worry about my Redwolf.magazines becoming obsolete on my gun,

GOod luck

Thanks! You and I think in the same way with respect to the older metal ones. I wasn't a fan of the plastic ones and I suspect there's a bit of flex and wobble leading to the situation I had as a result of the indexing pin striking the pellet probe. I prefer to older metal style magazines and they are what I have on my Pulsar. I have no care with regard to pellet probe cosmetic injury. I suspect I wouldn't have the issue I have now if the .177 magazine were metal instead of plastic.

I took the magazine apart thinking perhaps I could fix it. It's in the trash now otherwise I would file a warranty claim with AOA/Daystate.

I'm using the single shot tray until the CARM shows up. Sure do hope I can pick up some metal ones forward going. Even the Daystate newer style magazines are nonexistent as this point as well.

Both the Pulsar I have in .22 and the Renegade in .177 are wonderful PCPs; no complaints by me. I just hate to dremel my pellet probe in the Renegade and would rather it just wear naturally -- albeit at the cost of plastic magazines. :(
