Where to buy compressors !

Ahh live and learn ! Amazon vs Ebay . I have used both with satisfaction until now . All compressors are mostly made in china . My yong heng was purchased on Ebay less than a year ago and came with a lifetime warranty by the seller Vipshopmarket . Crankcase broke badly while running . After multiple contacts with Vipshopmarket without satisfaction I talked to Ebay twice and was told after 30 days Ebay will do nothing. With Amazon you can get warranty protection cheap and I know from experiance get satisfaction fast and easy with that protection . From now on it is Amazon only . Ebay is not an option . I asked Ebay if they were owned by China and they said no . Not so sure myself . Hope this info saves one of you men some money and grief ! New compressor on its way from Amazon with extra 3 year warranty [50 $]

Researched Vipshopmarket on eBay, not surprised by your outcome. Advertising says lifetime and two year warranty, apparently neither is true. Negative comments reveals other "Yong Heng," victims, as well. Item description reflects brand as, "Vipshopmarket," curious what metal ID plate on compressor side shows. If "YongyIheng Pneumatic Company" is not noted (picture), highly doubtful an authentic. WM

After getting a full refund when my 1st YH crapped out at 3.5 years (had 4 year extended warranty) that's the only way I'll go too. It was almost painless to get the refund & pleasantly surprising. Too many unknown variables with ebay. I'll stick with the sure thing.

Where did your crank case break?

Mine developed a hairline crack just below the cylinder head & not even noticable until running a while oil starts weeping. I bought a replacement case off of aliexpress and will eventually replace it.
For curiosity sake, does your compressor ID plate also state, "YongIheng Pneumatic Company," as noted above ? WM

All around the cylinder head . Left a 1/4 inch gap around 80 % . Happened while running . Started making a different noise and I shut it down before the mushroom cloud ! I am the lone survivor and here to tell the story. Hell call me Ishmael :p

I bought my YH about 4 years ago from Amazon largely because I know they are great about returns. If it had not really been a Yong Heng it was going back. I take a chance on ebay sometimes but got bit recently so I will avoid, at least for awhile. If the ebay seller is OK it can be fine but ebay seems to do no policing of their suppliers.

yep, it's the real deal

I completed the warranty thing on amazon & never heard from anyone about returning it so I'll probably just fix it.
My extended warranty was thru a 3rd party insurer. I never went back to SELLER about refund but contacted "Assurion", the company through which I had the extended warranty. No problems.
