Super old thread, sorry
Picked up a second hand Airforce.
old style? Is there a probe to fill this bottle? I have a compressor. Left a voice-mail with the company but no returned call.

Two adapters I use that fit over the valve. Both can be had at Aliexpress, sorry lost links. The $8 one above for direct pump fill and I still have my old AF K valve adapter for scuba tank fill. I tried the Talon Tune one but several leaks later and crappy gauge, I gave up. AF is dropping the ball for old tank owners to upgrade but still carry the valve part replacements. On the other hand, my old Talon SS still rocks with all of one o-ring leak in last 20 years or so. Good luck.

So thread that adapter on and fill?
Then what? Discontent my whip and then unthread the adapter?
I ordered from Ali for 99 cents!
Well I see it this year?
Got more questions, I'll start a new thread with those.

Lol, 1 dollar? Must be at end of stock for the older tanks...
Mine took two weeks to arrive. These cheap adapters require you to place o-ring first, then screw down adapter. The older heavy adapters were sized to allow simply screwing down over the valve. Once pump at 3k or below, open fill hose bleed, tank valve seals bottle...as long as valve in good shape. Might want to check for leaks at low pressure if you don't know valve history. One trick for these tanks is to watch fill gauge slight jump and or click that the valve makes when going from unknown, say 2k when filling back to 3k if fill pump quite enough. My gun likes 2900 psi so I use good fill gauge. Check your valve for lock if overfilled, depends on hammer and spring if gun new to you.

To empty filled bottle, use a dime flat inside the adapter and slowly screw down over valve until air bleeds off. Enjoy!

Yay, my 99 cent Ali fill adapter showed up. Ships must be getting faster.

Ran down to basement to attach my tank to my compressor. Put in 1000psi and took a shot. Works. First shot for me in this old Airforce I bought second hand. Reconnected and ran it up to 2k psi and she's leaking at the tank. Coming straight out the end that I circled in pic. Is this something I can reseal with o-rings or am I looking at trying to find parts? Airforce, the company never did answer my call or return a call after I left them a message. Where to find parts? Valve stem?
I want to love this gun but it's getting frustrating.

Found this pic online years ago. All US o-ring sizes. Depending on first owner and usage, the likely culprit may be the poppet valve. Use a bit of soapy water at the tip of the top hat... The poppet seals against the brass valve cup. You have to remove the top hat to unscrew the cup with two prong pliers. Hope the top hat screws (2) have not been buggered, they have to be removed to unscrew the top hat. So, valve can be removed without removing valve body from tank. Your tank to valve pic looks kind of scary.. Good Luck!
