Where to purchase slugs online?

Hi All. I do not have any local buying options for most anything airgun related. Where do you have the best experience with purchasing slugs online? I’ve used UA for gear and find their customer service to be fantastic. However, I’ve compared a handful of online retailers and when it comes to the cost plus shipping, shipping doubles the price.

I know they’re literally sending lead.

Some retailers offer free shipping over $150 or $200, but I don’t need 4,000 slugs at this time. Free shipping over $50 would be nice. Pointers?

Start with AGN sponsoring retailers, we've some good ones here. Slugs aren't cheap and shippings a killer, facts of modern airgunning. Bulk buying can help, waiting for holiday sales/discounts is also smart. Following forum can lead to deals, "Bullet Central," and "NORMA ammo," recent examples, members are good at finding, sharing. WM

They are constantly tweaking and improve their slugs that’s why they don’t have “standard” weights and many newer sizes. They have cheap flat shipping fee, prelubed, great performance and best consistency/quality over all. My go to when it comes to slugs.

Yeah AVS is a good source for heavy slugs and uncommon diameters like .3063" that the Vulcan 3 uses. He's a bit slow to ship but otherwise has excellent products and is good to deal with.

Slugs are never an easy proposition. They are harder to tune to than pellets and you never know which will perform
”best” out of a particular gun. So you may go through several brands and weights before you land on a good one.
Thankfully, things seem to be improving. I am finding more slugs that shoot well out of my M3 and Panthera. They do not seem so picky as before. Nothing on the guns has changed so I assume that the slugs are getting better, maybe a little more universal in design maybe?
We have found NSA to be the most cosistent performers with our FX guns. However, my wife’s M3 is tuned to shoot NSA 24.8’s but shoots H&N 25 gr almost as well with the same exact tune. I am sure a few clicks here and there and a small POI adjustment on the scope and they would be just as good.
I have found ordering direct from NSA works best for me as the freight rate is more user friendly.

The best deal anywhere, in my opinion, is Utah Airguns on days they offer free shipping, especially if you are out of state (Utah) so there is no sales tax. When they offer free freight, order four and get the fifth tin free. Win Win!
ALTHOUGH - Bullet Central still has their sale going on - great prices - BUT - many, including me, experiencing poor packaging and damaged tins.
