Daystate compressors are made by Coltri, an Italian company (iirc). The plate on the motor specifies 60 hz (not 50 hz). They have both 50 hz and 60 hz models available according to their website http://www.coltriamericas.com/"Kevin848"If the compressor is from Europe then likely it will have a 50 Hz motor - North America = 60 Hz
When you raise the frequency, the motor will speed up (20% faster)
- I don't know if cooling maybe an issue at the higher RPM ?
