Houdini would enjoy the Taipan because he was double jointed and could reach all the waaaaaaaay back to cock the stupid design
It’s called the Reach Around, look into it. First of all, the Taipan checks a LOT of boxes for an airgunner, and it’s quite easy to “compromise” on the cocking lever all the way back there…..But frankly, once you learn how to cock it by reaching over the action with your non-trigger hand, it becomes, not only second nature, but quite possibly, one of the most natural cocking actions.
