N/A Which one is the must accurate air rifle with slugs at long range?

Thats a loaded question 😁 you'll only get people's preferences here. Look at what has won slug class competitions. As for fx, Slug liner and appropriate speed and the newest model being pushed by dubber is kinda irrelevant.
Idk, what if RMAC or EBR only allowed stock from factory rifles? Would it still be FX impacts? I've seen enough competitions talk about their $5k-$10k impact.

I've owned 2 K1's, 2 Impact in 3 calibers, 3 Vulcan 3's and 2 Uragan and out of the box the Vulcans and the Uragan out to distance would beat the fx impact, same goes for the K1.

Whichever gun shoots @Altaros slugs well is your answer. They are a generation ahead of any other slug on the market for long range shooting...
Do you know if the .25 49.5gr shoot well around 850,860fps? I just got my buddies vulcan tuned to shoot 40gr slugs at 950-953fps. I am guesstimating the 49.5hr going between 850 and 860fps

Yes, the .22 cal. 40 grain Kings shoot well at up to 950 fps. But the very best accuracy and precision are right around 900-905 fps. The .25 caliber ATP Smooth 49.5 grain shoot the best for me at 885-890 but are good slightly higher or lower. There are also the Altaros Queen 60 grain to try out, but a gun needs to have some serious ass to push them at 880 or higher.

Yeah, the hammer spring is nearly maxed out currently pushing 80fpe at 150b, i'm thinking of getting the the high power spring and increasing the regulator later on.

Any gun that has the ability to push the heaviest, highest ballistic coefficient slug at 985 to 1010 fps through a unchoked, 700mm to 800mm in lenght with the correct twist rate to stabilize said slug.

.224, , .254, .257, .284
I have found the most accurate guns I own or have owned usually have a different barrel than what it came with. But I break it down in 2 category factory barrel gun, or aftermarket barrel.

Factory barrel gun
Vulcan 3 700mm .30 cal with avs .3063 61grn
Katran 700mm cz unchoked 17.5 nsa .217 size.
FX M3 800mm superior heavy.22 40grn .218

Aftermarket barrel
.257 texan TJ1-14 61grn .2575 cast
.284 texan TJ 1-18 91grn .284
.224 condor TJ1-12 61grn .223 size

Several other platforms that have had fx 700mm superior heavy liners, tj barrels, CZ barrels Unchoked barrels.... too many to list

needs to be emperically tested & backed by data

personal opinion is anecdotal at best, but still just personal opinion
Huh? I'm gonna have to say the .25 @Altaros ATP Smooth 49.5 grain at 885 fps and winning the Oregon Long Range Challenge two years in a row is slightly more than just "opinion"... IMHO that is.

perhaps so....but still highly unscientific ;)
I'd rather hear real world opinions & experiences than scientific because we shoot these things in real world circumstances & conditions & THAT is much more applicable than "scientific" testing & conditions in this case IMHO. I'd think the OP isn't as much interested in scientific numbers as he is in practical experience of users.

6 different brands of slugs(that i noticed from the sign-up) and a variety of rifles will be competeing in Oregon in a few weeks at the benchrest and long range challenge
The results might help to give you a better perspective
i know i am looking forward to it
Centercut says Altaros slugs are an advantsge by itself.

Let’s see how much they shine in Oregon.

It's about a toss up between my V3 25 cal using 60gr Altaros/.245 G1BC slugs at 862 fps and my HPX, but I still have to give it an edge compared to my Thomas HPX using swaged 42gr/.142 G1BC slugs at 840 fps for "long range". IMHO the higher BC helps achieve more impacts the farther out I go. Inside 200Y it's hard to tell a difference when the wind is down. However the HPX is dominant at 50Y!

It's too early to tell yet but my new Skout EVO 22 cal shows a lot of promise with Altaros 32.3 gr/.18 G1BC slugs turned down to 829 fps . It was crazy good at 250Y last week in windy conditions on a fox sized and shaped steel. The weight of the gun, the ergos, the 2oz trigger, and the soft shot cycle feel, make this gun easier to shoot. In my stable this EVO is #1 as far as easy to shoot well, the HPX is #2, and the V3 is #3.
With less than 200 rounds down the barrel, and most of that just messing around, and "whenthegunworks, lol" it's quite impressive. I haven't even gotten close to serious about benching it and getting the gun sorted out mechanically. Part of that is first I need to source a bag rider for the butt of the chassis and then luck into a calm day which is a rare event this time of year where I live.
