N/A Which one is the must accurate air rifle with slugs at long range?

Idk, what if RMAC or EBR only allowed stock from factory rifles? Would it still be FX impacts? I've seen enough competitions talk about their $5k-$10k impact.

I've owned 2 K1's, 2 Impact in 3 calibers, 3 Vulcan 3's and 2 Uragan and out of the box the Vulcans and the Uragan out to distance would beat the fx impact, same goes for the K1.
It would also tend to lean towards who knows and shoots their chosen platform better too. A lot of guys would've said i had to have an anschutz to win the 22lr stuff I shot back in the day. I held them off with a headspaced 1022 with a gm barrel for a few years, 😁

You've had the top tier stuff. Which was the most consistent for you? I'm still dialing in my impact and it's showing that it likes 34s in 22 cal for the 22lr type shoots. I'm going to go back to my old club and shoot it and make them ban air rifles from that shoot. 😅

For the money, ease of tuning, and simplicity. The K1 .25 is hard to beat. Sure you need to find the right slug, which tends to be NSA .254 for the most part, but damn it's accurate. Brand new around $1700, used for anywhere between $1100 and $1400.

I like the power and accuracy the Vulcan put out, but that ping is annoying.

Now once fully decked out, the Impact for slugs is hard to beat, especially since it has a nice and smooth shooting cycle as well as being nice and smooth to cock.

The V3 has a very mechanical cocking action, and louder than necessary for an air rifle.

Which has the better concentricity: a swaged slug or a CNC turned slug?
That's hard one!

My uneducated guess is whichever company used the most precise/expensive cnc lathe to make the swage die and sizer, or to use for a turned slug???

I use both types, and for farther distances like ELR, both seeming to be just as precisely made, the higher BC slug wins out in the wind, translating to a higher hit ratio.

But definitely at 50Y from past experience, probably so at 100Y too(when my Thomas HPX is tuned in well), my custom swaged slugs edge out the turned slugs.
