Lots of great features on that scope, and well priced. In the past, I’ve owned a few Midas tactical scopes, and they were a great bang for their buck. Though the reticle on the Midas Tac was very thin. I like the reticle on the Mil Helos.Got a Athlon Helos G2 2-12x42 in mil on my Steyr ProX and there isn't a optic regardless of price that I'd rather have on there. Heck I could put my March Shorty 1-10 DFP on it if I wanted to but nope.
And until something comes out like the HG2 that is higher quality it's staying there, or actually I'm not sure I care at this point.
2-8x32 Vector Veyron SFP dot IR super clear, not too thin small like most vector reticles. Under 9" long and under 16ozLots of great features on that scope, and well priced. But I’m thinking something even smaller and with less magnification might suit the SLS. I’ll probably start by plinking some steel at close to mid range in semi auto![]()
Well now, I just might have to pull out my ProX10 and remove my SWFA ultra light and try the above mentioned Athlon on it.Got a Athlon Helos G2 2-12x42 in mil on my Steyr ProX and there isn't a optic regardless of price that I'd rather have on there. Such eye candy and a HG2 2-12x42 is perfect for it.Well now, I just might have to pull out my ProX10 and remove my SWFA ultra light and try the above mentioned Athlon on it.
scope in picture is not the SWFA ultra light

I know a lot of people like that scope. If we’re talking variable magnification I only use FFP scopes. I’ve got an awesome 1-7x LPVO, but I just mounted it on my DRS Tactical.I would use what @JaceSpace1369 recomends. I use a similar scope on my AR. I can be precise or go nuts depending on the situation and never get caught being a zoomy.
Nice tiny scope. It must have a massive eye relief to be mounted that far forward!I love my Discovery 2-12x24 scopes. Fit great on my Mutant Shorty and VixenView attachment 552395View attachment 552394
Good choice. I've also got a similar Hawke 4x and 6x prism with BDC reticles. Great for mid-range work@Michael consider the Primary Arms SLX 3X or 5X MicroPrism with the Griffin X Mill or Aroura MIL reticles. Light and heavy duty, they rival the Element in that and not having to be fiddling with parallax at longer yardages. My 3X becomes parallax free and focus is clear at 20 yards (the only "issue" some might have if shooting close range and not having the eye centered or wanting to count the eyelashes on a chipper at 10 yards.
