As for Amazon not shipping to you, click the link I posted above for Flying Dragon Air Rifles. Mike has both the AR2078 and AR2078A. While I wish his new website listed pricing, a quick phone call will get you that and a chat about whatever work you might want done so it's already been tweaked before you get it delivered. He also includes a list of pellets tested and fps numbers inside the box lid to give you a starting point to what pellets to try.

The QBs are a good series of rifles. With a little work can be great. These are also some very good choices XS60C or the CR600W

Have you ever cocked a Hw30? A nine year old girl can cock one. My body is pretty beat up for it's 58 years and I shoot mine for hours without a hint of fatigue. I have lots of older friends with Hw30s that have no problem using them either.

I do understand the HW30S are much more expensive initially but the cost of Co2 cartridges will eventually even the costs. When it does you'll have a much nicer rifle for your money with the Weihrauch.

As to cocking the HW30, no, I haven't had the pleasure, as I've pretty much always considered it out of my price range. As a result (I should'a just kept my big mouth shut), I foolishly was judging by my experience with the cheaper, obviously far less friendly breakers I have tried (and the few I own), many of which are real bears now (I've also got ten years on you and things I scarcely noticed back when can be a pretty harsh and stark reality these days). ;-)

The stock on the far-right Beeman chillin' on your couch is -really- something! What kind of wood is that, or is it just the finish that made it so good-looking? The Weihrauch stock is beautiful, and even the vanilla (if it is) R7 is very nice, but that last one is absolutely gorgeous! Did you replace the stock or just re-finish the one with which it arrived, if you don't mind my asking?

Both are really good-lookin' air rifles! The rich, dark finish on the lower rifle is beautiful, but the satin-finished, checkered-grip stock on the top rifle (what is it?) has a quiet kind of dignity that really talks to me (I think it's whispering "buy me," or something like it. :)

I did that exact same move this week. Arrives tomorrow at my brother’s home in Michigan. I emailed him the Pirate Ship label to send to me.

They've since changed and several years ago, but there are a few zip codes in the New York City area that airguns can't be shipped to, so Amazon lumped the whole state into a no ship zone. Don't remember exactly when they got enough complaints to finally fix it, but I've gotten several from them although it's been a couple since I've seen anything that says "Buy Me"....lol.

I must have put untold thousands of pellet through it. I purchased a couple of Crosman air pistols and a Diana Chaser kit. They all use the small CO2 powerlets. No pumping, no compressors, cheap to shoot and good shooters at 25 to 50 feet. The Chaser with the stock is my favorite of the guns. Now I am thinking of maybe getting another rifle as I like small groups and maybe getting a scope for the new one.

After reading some reviews and watching some YouTube information I am drawn to the Beeman Q78 rifles. I think they are accurate for the price and would be fun to shoot. There are three different models that I have been looking at to buy.

1. QB 78 I do like the look of a traditional wood and steel rifle!
2. QB785 Different stock has a attachment point for a tripod.
3. QB78D Has a multi shot and single shot choice included. I think I would be using only single shot.....more accurate.
None of the above....I have a better suggestion!

I have the QB78s version of the QB78 and quite enjoy it, but always kind of missed going with the original deluxe model, with its nice wooden stock. Still, I got the one I have for such a great price (sixty-something) that it made up my mind for me at the time, and I do like the pistol grip/holed buttstock quite a bit too; very comfortable and possibly helps me get slightly better accuracy. Great little shooters. I'm a little bit amazed that the newest version of the rifle, the bottom one with the option of using clips, received no votes whatever! I suspected it might have a chance to win. Obviously, it looks like the more old school, quiet sort of quality some folks feel with a nicely finished wood stock was the pony to bet on (by almost two to one)! Whatever you end up choosing, I hope the rifle you purchase serves your needs well.
