Tuning Which Slug shoots best in your AEA ???

Curious to know what slug shoots best from your .457 AEA big bore. I have a .457 Challenger on the way and yes I've watched all the hunting and review videos on it but wanted to
hear some real world FPE numbers from any of you. I have the standard big bore coming which has no power washers under the hammer spring nor does it have the updated "power valve" so it's not going to be shooting HOT right out of the box so to speak.
Any info you fellows could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Fill pressure, weight of slug, brand and style of slug and FPS would be just awesome.

I'm not a AEA guy but from general expierience most times its best to slug your bore and find out the barrel actual bore diameter and then order slugs very close to bore diameter. There are AEA barrels that vary greatly from standard .457 bore diameter.. So if have a .460 diameter barrel and .457 slugs for example. Food for thought

Before I installed the power valve, my challenger bullpup liked 190-200 grain slugs best, I used to get them from hunter's supply. Now I make my own in 240 grain for when I use the magazine, and 350s for max power single load. The diameter of the 240s I make is .460. For the 350s, .457 or .460 doesn't make much difference, maybe because of the cup base expanding like a pellet skirt. My die makes them at .460 but I can size down to .457 if I want, which I have to do to use them in my don cothran pistol
