Who else is lucky to be able to shoot in there backyard?

what state would u recommend.

Im right wing conservative
love guns
dont like liberals at all

I live in AZ which is fine for shooting but if I had a choice, meaning selling my property to have enough money to get something a little more to my liking, my vote is the Alpine Wyoming or the Star Valley area, because even though where I live is up in the pines at 6700 feet, and my property is great, the Alpine area is MUCH more picturesque. The Snake River flows right through it into a pretty reservoir, and tons of streams, and smaller rivers abound. Plus the Tetons and it's green, green, green.

I was stranded there for a day because the slide on my 5th wheel got stuck open and I met the most kind and helpful individuals there. The clerk where I bought a tool offered to let me park at her house until I got it fixed and the local gun store owner let me hang out with them most of the day.

For me that would be shooting from my 5 X 5 foot " balcony " or my kitchen window in a 2 floor apartment in the #6 largest Danish town, so that’s a no go.
Taking the 40 min drive to my friends place, and its like not too far distance ( 130 M ) shooters heaven, and that is just fine as Danes without a hunting license can not have more than .177 caliber.

The shed is heated, will be insulated soon, and wired for mains power ( 230 V ) , and might soon get a couple of batteries and a 12 V wind turbine
It also have benches for 4 shooters now, though one will have to be a lefty CUZ i did not make it large enough for 4 righties.
Also outside, if you want, there is plenty of room to put up your own mobile bench or a picnic table to shoot from, or put out a blanket and lie down.

my yard is a 45 degree slant to the south side of the house , i am situated on a cliff over looking the lake about 90 feet below the house .
Here is a picture of my 50 yard slanted range .

if you look near the top you can see the actual slant , slippery with leaves

Very nice range and very cool shed.

100 yards is quite a good range for .177 i think.

I'm so sad for you danish guys that they banned all bigger calibers without any reason 2012...i read articles about it in danish newspapers....i remember all the .22 and bigger airguns which were free to buy 18 and above in the jakt og fiskeri stores when i was a young kid....good o'l times....

We have two indoor ranges in our house (one 13 meter for airguns and one 5 meter for airsoft), and one outside in the backyard that we light up with flood lights during the dark hours if we are shooting at night (Sweden is pretty dark for 6 months and then the reverse for 6 months).

Here’s one of my kids hitting a plate 44 meters out off hand with a HW30S during a night shooting session in our backyard.

Indoor airgun range.

and a really old video of our indoor airsoft shooting range from when the kids were small...

In the old days, you just had to be 18 and you could go and buy a shotgun, not hunting licence ASO.

Worst thing though, accident / gun crime numbers only gone up since then, though of course you dont know if it would have been even worse with more relaxed laws.

1 news article on high power PCP weapons and a group of kids shooting at people in the streets and hitting 1 guy with a .177 break barrel and BAM bye bye to the airgun scene in Denmark.
And 1 more shooting like that and i am sore BAM and it is 6 joule rules here if not a total ban.
People here ( in charge ) think they cam law their way around everything, but all they do is ruin a lot for a lot of people, but of course not enough for it to influence elections.

I am jealous of all the guys that can just go 'outback' and shoot. I don't think my neighbors would be ok with me shooting the .25 DRS.
