Who has deleted the front reg on their FX Impact M3

Seriously ppl are removing the first reg? Matt dubb, South Africa boys, Utah Airguns, etc they were all praising and bragging how cool the m3 was with the dual reg when it came out. Almost made me pull the trigger to get the m3 just for the dual reg even though i already own an impact. Thank god I didn't. Lmao. So the dual reg system is trash and over hyped by fx fan boys? 🤔 this is why it's so hard to trust these fx guys when they make their videos. They get free new fx guns and show it off like it's the best thing in the world. Maybe time to switch to daystate or something.

Are they fanboys or employees?
Emoyees because they were fanboys?
Fanboys because they are emoyees?
They are part of a marketing team and doing what marketing teams are supposed to do.
I find it both perplexing and amusing to watch people hate on marketers marketing.

They are not employees. Last I check none of them works for Fx. They are just youtubers that does reviews on guns. Companies see them and send them guns for review does not make them fx employees. And you missed my point. When the m3 came out they were bragging all about the dual reg system and how good it was. This tricks common folks into believing it and selling their mk1 and mk2 at a lost just to upgrade to the m3. Then later turns out the dual reg system was just all hype and not worth it. I heard too many stories how the 1st reg is trash and many are removing it. I'm just thankful I didn't fall into it. Lol. Don't take it like I'm against fx. Do you see my user name? I'm not a fx hater, I own an fx impact and love it. But don't trust these youtubers when they praise fx guns cause they get them free and will say good things about it to sell.

I realize it appears I was directing the post to you but my intent was more general. But, do you think they pay for their FX items? Maybe not direct employees but they are most certainly compensated...
I have an M3 that still has the 1st reg. I've never had an issue. I don't think I need it either......lol
I'll keep it there, if it goes bad I'll just put the reg delete I already have in.
Of course they come out with new "innovations"...........they need to sell in order to exist.

Yes the dual reg can be fantastic and a pain in the @Ss .
So if you are just plinking with pellets and do not shooting high power or reg presures the first reg will work swimmingly . Most that shoot high power or slugs either remove the first reg or crank it up to 200bar or better to get a quicker plenum refresh rate for follow up shots, lowers our ES an SD.
The first reg can also get all gummed up from dirty air also causing slow recover rates which u would also either want to clean n polish the first reg.
There is alot of info in this forum on this topic and many will share different opinions.
I run a 30cal M3 and i had slow recovery on the first reg so i pulled it, cleans and polished it and then opened it up to 200bar. Been flawless and i have 1000's of slugs threw it

Guys like Matt Dubber and Ted Bier do a lot of experimental development for FX and likely get free parts and guns in the process. I’ve seen Videos of Dubber in the FX factory when they were developing the barrel liners. I gotta think they were being paid for their time and expenses at least as consultants. Anyway, I think their work was trustworthy.

Having 2 regs on my Maverick is fine with me. It makes sense to me having the 2nd reg deal with 150 bar pressure instead of 250 bar . I can get SDs inder 2 fps with a good tune . And the regs are small compared to most . I get the less parts and what not but until I have any issues I'm leaving it as it was designed.

Doesn't the Scout have 2 regs ? Is this some type of ploy to sell more airguns ? I doubt it .

My .177 M3 was purchased used and was set at 150/70 (1st reg/2nd bar) which is an 80 bar d/p across the 2nd reg. Plenum pressure would have to drop 10 bar (about 5 shots) before the 2nd reg responded.

Set the regs to 120/70 reducing the d/p to 60 bar and the 2nd reg responded every 1 to 2 shots.

My used 30 cal M3 came tuned at 160/150, a 10 bar d/p across the 2nd reg, and the plenum pressure would vary between 160 and 150 bar per shot with a 1 minute wait between shots.

Knowing the max allowed plenum pressure is just 170 bar I set the regs to 150/130, a 20 bar d/p and the plenum pressure would vary from 130 to 160 bar per shot.

Set the reg pressures to 150/110 , a 40 bar d/p across the 2nd reg and the 2nd reg held 110 to 115 bar per shot after a 1 minute reset.

I am rebuilding the 30 cal and replacing both regulators.

After researching the Spring Disc regulator data on SPIROL.com , I think , but am not certain, I can get a more linear response out of the 2nd regulator with a constant d/p instead of a variable d/p caused by changing bottle pressure.
