In the next few days I intend to order either a dynamic .22/500mm or a Crown .22/500mm. The price is about the same. As I understand it the power maybe goes a little to the Dynamic but reputation for shooting and druability goes to the Crown. I do not intend to do any changing to the original gun! I lean toward the Dynamic simply because I do NOT like the look of the Crown's stock regardless of which I would order and like the look of the dynamic. In your opinion is the Crown just a more tried and true,, ie... better rifle than the newer Dynamic's. I don't want NO UGLY GUN like i see the Crown BUT am willing to overlook the looks if the Crown is viewed as just a better rifle.

In my opinion, the Crown is a much better looking rifle!
Its also simple, easy to change calibers, and has a long history.
The Dynamic, is newer, has more air options, and has more power.
They are completely different rifles, and either would be a great choice.

The fact that they are both great guns is what makes the choice hard. I do not hunt I only target shoot. I now shoot a FX Dream that groups great out to 50 yards or so. I just want to do the same thing at 75 or 100. The extra power of the Dynamic will for sure do that. I am not so sure the Crown has the power to do it comfortably. I don't want to run the gun I by up near max pressures to get the job done. BUT, as stated the Crown is the more tried and true design.
