Just wondering who here hunts with their airguns here. I have been using a Benjamin .22 Maximus with JSB Hades pellets with very good results, the squirrels don’t stand a chance when the Hades hits home.
My experience seems to indicate they have worse ballistic coefficient than normal pellets. And in real world use, do not open up much at all on game. @33fpe. Still laser accurate thru my gun. But all of mine are very early production pellets. So, some of the first ones made.I found that the Hades does have better terminal performance, but not enough to justify the difference in accuracy. Obviously that is specific to the rifle, and I hear that they shoot great in many guns.
