I would like to get back into shooting springers (preferably TX200 or ProSport) and was wondering who the springer tuning gurus are these days? I used to know who they were years ago, but I'm sure things have changed......thanks for any help. Mostly going to just be for target shooting, and maybe field target if I can find a club near me in NW Indiana.

Very ezy to work on. New member Tin Bum has some nice kits and videos, also Vortek has nice kits. There is a lot of vids on how to do it.

Unless you’re wanting to make either sub-12 ft lbs, buy and shoot first before jumping on tuning bandwagon. Both are great shooters out of the box, that is part of what you’re paying a premium price for. 10.000+ rounds on my ProSport and never sensed it needed a tune.

I wish, I follow a British HFT shooter on youtube and his groups at 40 yards are amazing.Have you done this? Show me some groups!!

After perusing lots of sites, it looks like I will probably end up buying new rather than used, which is OK. Just not that many TX200 or Pro Sports out there for sale. I'm not in a big hurry.

BTW..CameronK in Elk Grove is one of the finest tuners of TX200s.

You just missed several really good deals here, and I think there may be a few left, actually. I almost snagged one in .177, but I’m kind of wanting an HW30 or HW50 for a lighter-weight, lower-powered option for woods walking. Might be worth a look in the classifieds again for you, though.
