I love this event, win or lose, it's the best Field Target shooting competition that can be found. It's cool that they are expanding the shoot to include benchrest, I'll be competing in Field Target WFTF PCP, and Springer Gunslinger......should be a blast....

I will be there! Rumor has it the goodie bags have copies of Airgun Hobbyist in them! I am sure you guys can ask the authors of any articles for autographs.

Myself, my wife and my father will all be competing in BR Friday. This is our first airgun competition, so we aren't expecting to do more than just have fun and make some new friends. My dad and I spent a few years competing in NRA Conventional Pistol, but I just got my wife shooting with us this summer. She's literally only shot a handful of times, and I'm concerned she may outshoot me. I don't know whether that's saying I'm bad or she's good, but it is what it is, and if it happens... there will be no living with that woman.
We can't leave to come over until after 5:00 pm on Thursday, so we won't arrive at the venue's campground until 8:30 or 9:00 pm at the earliest. So, no Thursday practice for us, but we'll just dive in and start learning as we shoot our first heat Friday morning. If there's no wind, we may not shame ourselves in the company we'll be in, but with the wind we would expect, our scores are going to be embarrassing, I'm sure. We simply haven't been shooting airguns long enough to have any experience yet compensating for and reading the wind.
But... regardless, we'll have a blast. Looking forward to meeting a few forum members. Any of you camping at the venue campground?

I'll be there shooting in the FT on Sat and Sun. Will be there on Friday to watch the bench rest and get some time at the practice range. Looking forward to it. But, not the 12 hour drive......

I’ll be arriving Thursday afternoon. Shooting FT Saturday and Sunday. Friday’s BR will be interesting to watch. Big money so there should be some names in the mix. FT shooters will get the pleasure of some World champions past and present attending. Looking forward to see the new venue too.

I'm headed down for the action on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing those friends I haven't seen since the Cajuns. I shot at Wyandot FT yesterday with some of the NOA guys. Great course Roger has there. Lots of potential. Good prep for the PAC.
