Who sells nice Carbon Fiber LDC's ?

Hey guys, I would like to get a nice Cardbon Fiber LDC for the Huben GK1 so it matches the tank. Who make them? Thanks

If you have Neil make one for you, see if he can make one that's really compact. I 3D printed one that 25mm in diameter and only 3' long, but sure does an amazing job at making mine back yard friendly and the iron sights are still usable. 24mm diameter would probably be even better! If Neil can do it's I'd be interested in getting one from him also, I'm not sure how long this 3D printed will last!

Not sure if your focus is carbon fiber+ small, but if just small is what your after, the Huggett Atom is pretty tiny.
Thanks, I'll have to research those a bit more. I want to keep the length at no more than 3" so I can keep is usable with a holster. Any longer than that makes drawing it a bit awkward!

A quick search of the internet for the Huggett Atom disclosed it's not going to work, not with the iron sights anyway. The outside diameter is 31mm, which would block the front sight rendering them useless. I have used a MOD30 (30mm diameter) and they also block the front sight. The 3D one I'm using is 25mm Diameter and the front sight is usable, although I feel a 24mm diameter would be even better.

I MIGHT be able to make something you would like. I would have to order the CF tubing. It would be 24mm OD and 22mm ID. There wouldn't be any lettering on it. Tubing would cost about $18.00 for 500mm so you are going to eat that unless you did a group buy.

I am working o the design now.

What power level is the gun running at?
What is the maximum power level of the gun?
What caliber is the gun?
What thread pattern is on the gun?

You guys HAVE TO realize you aren't going to buy much silencing in a package that is that small? I MIGHT get you an improvement in accuracy at that size but if I can get you 5 dBs of noise reduction I would be very proud of myself. ZERO promises. They might shoot, they might not. They might not handle the power. That form factor is just so tight that you can't get a lot of control over the air flow before the shot is gone. If I HAD to put my money on it I'd try go with the 2 baffle model and say a quick prayer.

EDIT: Just bought a meter of CF 24mm OD

Can you do .25 caliber?
Not a chance... There isn't enough room in that package. Well having looked at it a little deeper, yes you could have one in .25 but it would have to be a little longer and you would not get a whole lot of silencing. As I said somewhere else under those conditions if I could get 5dB I would be pretty proud of myself. It would probably be more like 3 dB.

The 3" 3D printed one I have on mine has 4 baffles and is .25 caliber. It actually does a really good job of quieting my GK-1, I just don't know how long it will last since it a 3D print. It has an OD of 25mm. What I'd really like is one made out of Carbon fiber with aluminum baffles, but I don't know if that's even possible.

I do have a couple coming from folks who offered to help out. Hopefully one of them will be a winner! They are both just one-off builds not anything either is interested in mass producing...

3D printed moderators are plenty strong if designed correctly with good quality print/material. I have my 3D printed moderator on my Dynamic shooting a touch over 100FPE.
