I've been on the lookout for a 177 for a while, and was really wanting to get a BSA Goldstar, but when I saw that I had to jump on it. Stock looks like it can be drilled and pinned easily enough, but may try my hand at carving out a new stock if I can find a decent blank.

Right on bud, i thought the same thing. It looks like it is seperated where the 2 pieces go together. Pins and glue, for sure, but a hand-made walnut would be sweet too. Great find, and on to the next one.
