I simply don’t have time to tinker. Who is known to tune the FX impact X ? I want to send it and get a tuned
It does, but a lot of people chase their tails and blow through tins of ammo trying to dial them in. Some guys time is worth more than it would cost to send it in for a basic tune. Personally I think you need to be able to do your own tuning to really get the intended performance out of a pcp like an Impact. But I understand it can be very frustrating trying to figure it out on your own without some help.Confused,....do you have to send a 2 Grand gun to be tuned ?
I thought the Impact came with a ton of tuning possibilities from factory.

The FX Guns do yes. But as others have said, Time verses money and experience. No matter the order.Confused,....do you have to send a 2 Grand gun to be tuned ?

Your right...I wouldn't touch that birds nest.. just about anything mechanical im usually good to go... Electrical I know just enough to screw it up.Difficulty is relative. And like the OP states, he doesnt have the time to tune. You also have to remember learning how to do a thing takes time too. When I was working 87 hours a week for a full year, I didnt have a lot of extra time to waste either. Some people want to just pick something up that works without having to waste time messing with it. There is a reason most good pcp shops offer a tuning service.
Most people wouldnt touch this mess, as wiring is too difficult for the average person to bother with it. This is my F233 Forumla project I just picked up recently. There are 5 ignition switches spliced in for some reason lol. I dont consider this difficult, but others might. Difficulty is relative
Haha, I just took apart a countertop icemaker trying to fix it. I actually got it to the part where I don't think I can get it back together..........Difficulty is relative. DC is just like plumbing water. It wants to go from the highest point aka power source to the lowest point aka ground.Difficulty is relative. And like the OP states, he doesnt have the time to tune. Only 1 way to learn too!Difficulty is relative. And like the OP states, he doesnt have the time to tune. You also have to remember learning how to do a thing takes time too. Well Jeff my guns where simple 500 bucks guns without even a power adjuster,....I was of the understanding the Impact as multiple different adjustments,......so what happens after it comes back from a tuner, is everything locktited down ?The FX Guns do yes. But as others have said, Time verses money and experience. No matter the order.
You yourself have shipped Guns to be Tuned. Maybe not a $2000 gun but same reasoning applies.
No they are not. Mine came tuned, shot well. I detuned and started over just for fun........and to learn the M3.Well Jeff my guns where simple 500 bucks guns without even a power adjuster,....I was of the understanding the Impact as multiple different adjustments,......so what happens after it comes back from a tuner, is everything locktited down ?
