Who would base their pellet selection

on cost? I mean I am happy with,177,.22, and the one.25 I have, cost never entered the picture....now .30 might, but I really have no use for anything larger than .25
Geeze I've already been thinking about gas mileage for years,I would hate to have to think about pellet cost....oh no tell me it ain't coming to that.
Know what, I just give up candy and cookies. What if it was a conspiracy,to make all these great air guns , get people to buy them,get them hooked ,then raise the price of pellets.
Yea I have that T-shirt,"Shut up and Fish".....gotta get the one that says,"Shut up and Shoot".

I don't want to put anybody down but there have been threads, I think exclusively on another website, of people complaining about a gun that would not shoot Crosman pellets well. One guy said he sent the gun back. It's his money but I wouldn't send it back unless it shot nothing well. Only my Prod likes Crosmans and it likes H&N FTT copper plated better. So it gets the FTTs. If I can't get FTTs I will shoot Crosmans out of it.

I will admit that I consider the preference my P35s have for H&N pellets, versus the slightly higher priced JSBs, to be a factor in their favor. But I plan to keep my Avenger despite it's strong preference for JSBs.

The price of gasoline hits my budget a lot harder than the price of the pellets for my airguns.

Shoot what ever you want if it does what you want then its all good. I dont base my pellet selection on cost I use what ever pellet was the most accurate. The cost to buy the pcp and the supporting equipment is high even if you go budget on the rifle. If I am willing to pay over $1,000 just to shoot a pcp rifle I am not going to sweat it if my rifle likes $20 a tin jsb instead of $12 a tin crosman. I dont care if I can buy crosman pellets off the shelf. In this day and age where I can order 1,000's of pellets in less time than it takes to walk out and start my vehicle I see no need to worry about something being local.

@LDP, I don't believe anyone "worries about" or "sweats" pellet prices or where to buy them... It's a hobby for most. It depends on how the buyer is using said pellets. I once used up two tins of AAs pellet shooting roosting starlings at night. I felt foolish afterwards because all those sub 20 yard shots could have been handle by pellets 1/3rd the cost of the AAs... Now the bulk of my pesting or plinking is with CPHPs... Because they work, the price? Just an added bonus.

I listened to you guys.
I knew from my business, whatever happened in the US usually trickled into Canada within 6 months. So when I first read of your shortages I bought 10 tins (2 boxes) almost weekly. The money I saved would take the bank 30 years to do the same. I have mostly .177 and .22. A good stock of .20 and .25 maybe 5 tins of .30. I shoot daily so I burn through them. I have mostly JSB’s. I hope they can replenish ammo soon. Crow

Well when come to shooting,,, whether be it powder or air...
Whatever ammo you are using......
If it not accurate in your gun and you can't hitting what you are aiming at...
What is the use of shooting them?????

But for cost sake... also Quality Control and accuracy...
I do reload and Swage my own pellets!!
Still the initial investment is high!! but the results are satisfying!
