I've been in the airguns as a hobby builder and fun shooter for about 10 years but this is going to be my very first airgun competition. I registered for the Pro class, because why not. No sandbagging for me, I prefer to compare my skills against the best competitors in the available field even if it means lower overall placement. Go big or go home! lol.
@North East Airguns - thank you for putting on this big event! Running even local matches is a LOT of hard work and your patience will be (is being?) tested, i am sure
Sig Sauer Academy is a premier facility. I have been shooting practical pistol competitions with and against their top guys for a few years now. I am sure the event will be top notch and even if there are some hiccups along the way - it's kind of to be expected. Perhaps knowledge transfer with your fellow match directors on the West Coast on what to do and how to avoid back ups and delays might be a good idea. It's probably already happening
Quick questions on the rule set, are electronic scopes (like the ATN X-Sight or similar) allowed? I didnt see anything in the rules, safe to assume they are?
How will the food/water situation be at the event? Plan to bring my own, but if there is some catering or vendors - would be cool.
