Who's using 472cu/ft tanks?

I'm moving towards getting a larger air tank for filling my rifles. I also have a new build planned that will be an air hog, as I'm looking at getting into a big tank - I'm starting to think about how I'm going to fill it.

For those of you with bigger tanks, what kind of compressors are you using to fill them with? I'm not married to this Daystate compressor, and I would obviously need to step up my game a level or two if I plan to fill something almost 4x as large as my GW lol

Cheers :)

I have the large steel tank. I use it to fill my 60, 45, and 30 min tanks. I fill the large tank with a Daystate LC110.

Not in carbon fiber they don't LOL!

ACECARE do a 20L but it is about $1000 and you have to buy 3, they also do a 50L but the price is eyewatering!

I have 3 X 12L carbon bottles (127cu-ft each), 4 inline would only weigh 25kg and give you over 500cu-ft but not cheap.

As you say 6000PSI would be good but how to re-fill it?

The yellow storage tank there are steel, and what's cool about the ISO tanks is that the hydro is good for 15 years!

I'm thinking a 5000psi tanks would be more in reach for most of us to be able to fill. The compressors that can do that are rather expensive, but nowhere near what the ones that do 6000.

In any event, having 2 of those 310 bar tanks would be perfect IMHO with the higher end compressors we typically use.

That just isn’t right and now after seeing this I want to add a yellow tank to my AV Compressor to help fill my 88cf-74cf and my little 90ci tank. Again how expensive is a yellow tank? I have those size tanks for my cutting torch and one for my wire welder but I have a feeling that yellow tank is a bit more.

I just never thought of putting a big tank with my AV compressor.

The 472cu' 5000psi cylinders run ~$1400-1850 new. I'm not sure on the second hand market pricing.
