Who's willing to play - you can only keep ONE......

I would choose my current favorite and most used. Maximus multishot breech tuned to 875 and shoots benjamin 14.3 real well. I've taken rabbits out past 50 yards. Amazing barrel! Easy to work on and tune.

While both the TAIPANS are excellent, a Longer rifle is more universally easier to shoot accurately IMO
While I do agree with your take that long guns are generally easier to shoot more accurately, I gotta say my Taipans are just guns I feel very comfortable behind and feel I can shoot them as good or better than the average long gun. But definitely just a personal opinion there.

Anyways mine would be my Taipan Vet1 Long.

We'll see if my Vet2 will over throw that spot but it's got some big shoes to fill

I'll be getting this this week in .22. Should be set around 40fpe for the newer 22gr pellets. Maybe some light weight slugs. Windy season is around the corner and have been wanting something the last few years. Decided now was the time.

Hmm, not sure I would want to play for real but it does make me think. It would be my first quality springer, a first year Beman R1. I saved for a year to buy it and shot the heck outta her. never gave me any problems, even after tearing down and learning how to tune. Just like family, always there when needed.
