Why are there so many Leshiy 2 for sale?

I note that there are a lot of Leshiy 2 for sale here on airgun nation, what might be the reason?

Thanks

I will have to agree somewhat with the O.P. as I too have noticed more L2's available for sale recently.

Why worry about it? Well, maybe not a worry but perhaps some ex-L2 owners could chime in and let us know why they ended up selling their guns.

Lots of the review material available to potential buyers focuses on positive attributes of a gun - sometimes exclusively. Inquiring minds want a more rounded picture before plunking down the cash which is asked for these guns - even though most of us recognize and accept that they were created by a genius designer and are built very well with only top-notch materials.

Personally I'm not in the market for any new guns right now - but I still like to accumulate a broad knowledge about the guns which are out there and available to us.

"3/9 are Want to Buy ads.

5/9 are for parts

The repeated ads by the same seller/buyer are not identified. Why worry about it?"

THIS.

no idra, alot of people bought them maybe and now maybe falling on hard times since the govt isnt giving them a free pass to not pay rent now AND they owe anything they failed to pay over the past year or theyre getting evicted …..

NOT THIS.

Great post +1

Its a new gun, perhaps the novelty has worn off? Plus its on the expensive side of things, like a pimped out FX M3 or a Delta Wolf. One thing I have noticed over the past 4 years on AGN is that EDGuns have almost a cult-like following on the forum. Just try to criticize, even constructively, any EDGun and you'll get a blast from all of the fanboys. So rather than post or notify others of their issues with their new guns, they just decide to sell them? FYI, I have owned quite a few, and still have two, both of them single shot Eddies (a .22 R3 Long and a .20 Lelya Gen1). The repeaters that I have had have been a disappointment...

LOL, as soon as I saw a couple of them listed for sale yesterday, I was jokingly going to comment and/or start a sarcastic thread asking why "so many" Leshiy 2's are being sold suddenly...just like this one.

If you dissect your screenshot, half of those posts are either WTB ads from people WANTING to buy a L2 or are listings to sell L2 parts/accessories (not the rifle itself). Of the few listings actually selling a L2 rifle, two of those rifles were being sold by one member in back to back weeks because he had multiple L2's and was just shuffling through them to get the exact final configuration on the one he wanted to keep.

Though it's not perfect, the L2 is a great gun and 2 or 3 of them popping up for sale doesn't really constitute a mass sell-off.

God, this is so true...

Shoot, I can’t afford a used one yet! Anyone with cash would want one, or at least try it out. Same as a top of the line Daystate , or FX or AGT or….. You can pretty much have 2 great airguns for the price of one of the latest and greatest! Every PCP I own has been purchased used off here—the great thing being I get a proven gun (from great people here with history) at a much lower than retail price. When I was younger I would always buy the latest car, motorcycle, or firearm. As I aged I liked having more than 1 toy, thus multiples at lower cost. Each Airgun is set up for a specific pest, night hunting, or target shooting. When I was a youngster I competed in combat handgunning and always had 10 to 12 hand guns—I could always trade in a few to get the latest powder burner and it was exciting to own the gun on the cover of the latest magazine! So I say if you can afford it, do it and gain the experience. I will have a m L2 when the come out with the L3!

Maybe - but how is that any different than blasting an Impact? YMMV

I think it really comes down to the output level of the Leshiy 2. It's a powerful airgun and even in a milder setup the valve pushes out a good shot of air. For many, it's likely not the backyard friendly little semi plinker they envisioned before purchase.

I just bought a non-REPR version, and sorta thought about selling that to get the new shiny REPR situation. Maybe some folks are doing that.

Also, not being one that gets deep into tuning, although I know calibers can be easily changed I would consider just selling my L2 and buying one from EdGun West that is set up for the caliber and barrel length it comes with. I got the nozzles with my L2. There are like 300 of these little brass things that I have no idea what to do with. So yeah, could also be non-tuners like me looking to get a different set up, but set up right.
