Airforce Why buy Airforce instead other PCP brands

im late to the party here but hopefully you still see this... I am the proud owner of an AirForce TalonP and very soon a Talon SS, here's my answer, I can absolutely beat the crap out of my TalonP, it has tings and stretches, markings on it from resting on trees, everything. this gun is stored in cold temps in a bag in my garage, the gun does not care. every time I take the gun out, it performs. I have never had a single problem with the gun. I have been shooting it an absolute ton lately and have zero complaints. they are incredibly well built, they're accurate, but most importantly, POWERFUL! AirForce Airguns are power above all else and somehow they're accurate. my talonP right now is set for about 45 FPE, if I wanted to I could easily set it up for over 60 FPE, so I can go from blasting pest birds and chipmunks to removing raccoons and coyotes and all I have to do is turn a nob and zero my sights. the aftermarket support is good for these guns, you can get some wicked caliber conversions, ive seen .257 barrels and even .308 barrels if that's your thing, you can get regulators for these guns, awesome looking stocks, better triggers...you name it, its probably out there. or if you want to only use official parts you can do that too, I have a 22 caliber barrel laying around and within 5 minutes I can swap it over to my TalonP and now its a 22 cal. for the most part, all the parts are interchangeable. so if you get a Talon but in the future you want a condor or just more power in general, you can buy a condor bottle and hammer weights and you're there. sure some other guns can do that too but...you get the idea. they are definitely an acquired taste but if you ever get the chance to shoot one, you'll fall in love.

I’ve mentioned this before, but for the way I shoot the single shot is actually preferable. I like the rhythm more than loading and emptying magazines. I shot entirely single shot guns for a long time (AF, pp700) and expected to like the magazines more than I do. Really doesn’t make a big difference, of course.
I have single shot trays for all my guns and use them. I too like the rythym of shooting single shot…

Some things that kept me from buying an Airforce is the high scope mounts , don't like that your head is laying against a high pressure tank and the length of some .

I don't mind a single shot , but I don't hunt deer or larger animals with a airgun. I have 30/06 , 6mm , 223 and 5.56 for coyotes and up .
the scope is mounted very high off the barrel, which for up to certain distance and caliber its no big deal but I'm not a fan

Amateur here, but at first play I find the height of the scope determines the "point blank range", or the flatter part of the trajectory from the shooter's perspective. High mount means a further, if not shorter, PBR; low is closer.
That all said, I understand the consistency of the cheek-weld is more important for accuracy than how high or low it is.

My backyard “go to” at 6 lbs soaking wet. This is a 2009 12" SS model that ate one o-ring several years ago. At least 30 massive squirrels that crossed my handler’s flower garden have not given their approval. TalonTunes dropdown now in the mail from repair so will gain a fill port and gauge like the new guys!

Not a regulated gun but who cares, handles like a Notos, both with 12” barrel? I was going to click buy on the JTS Airacuda, really like the non regulated version, but that is one pound from my .25 Gauntlet with scope at 9.8 pounds.
Yes, the shot string looks like an elevator but all 20 can go inside a quarter from bench at 25 yards.
