Cut the front off the fill assembly. Used Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black to refinish. Then drilled and tapped for 1/8 BSPT. NO MORE PROBES

I’ve got a BSA Goldstar SE that could use some of that love, and a Brocock Atomic.
i frigging hate probes. One problem is they usually have a gauge where you put the QD.

Only the a few Kral have the gauge in the front so you'd have to relocate that to the valve which isn't crazy difficult and would make it so much nicer than looking down the barrel while you fill.

Ehh I prefer the probe. More streamlined look. I don't really like the front facing fill nipple

I can replace the nipple with a gauge. I might end up going that route to make it nicer to tether.

I changed the AA T-bar on one of my AA for the convivence to fill like my other guns.... but I never had the T-bar thingy pop off and scare the crap out of me like I've had a probe and QC do. I wouldn't go back though.

I have a huma in my box of CZ200 stuff to go on when I feel like making the switch. The rifle doesn’t have a guage, so no loss.
In all honest I don’t really need a guage on my rifles. The only benefit would be for noticing a leak. I have a better guage on my fill tank that’s easier to see.
