Why Did You Join AGN?

Here's the story in a splash
When we were dating and very enthused for each other it was quite a ride.
One that lasted a good amount of time IMHO
Never had I thought there would be enjoyment in being crunched, clutched, scissored and sometimes bruised
But we always came away smiling
Things have calmed down a bit now, but we have held on famously
The whole AGN thing started when she went to practice and I, quite frankly, needed the break (no pun intended)

Now in full disclosure I must tell you that I never use LOL
Once it leaves the keyboard everything becomes the responsibility of the reader to claw out whatever he/she can

Because I can .nuff said.thats why I joined.i have always had some sort of gun in my hands .I got bored with shooting squirrel's with a shotgun (Savage 24)side by side .graduated to a Remington nylon 66.again boredom set in.so I got interested in pcp's.so I joined.lots of good people here.but I've seen a bunch of bullpoop on here as well.es on newbie,s.if someone ask a question and you no the answer.****ing answer it.dont tell them to look up blah blah.post from 3 years ago.come on people .

Simple question. For me there is not much to it. I bought a Bulldog from Airgun Depot. It was my first PCP. I bought it in a package deal and a few items in the package were out of stock. In trying to replace an item the sales reps was kinda talking over my head. I guess it was obvious that I didn’t know much. Somewhere in the conversation she mentioned Airgun Nation. One day I looked up the site, perused the threads, and after a while I decided to join. I’ve pretty much been here ever since. How about you?

Have a break open spring gun, 177. I wanted a .22 PCP to get rid of backyard pests. Trying to learn about them as the ones I like are very $$. Mail order dealers looks kinda sketchy. No guns in stock, want big deposits, $55 special handling fees, etc.

Another who felt the times of old on the GTA had / was fading away at an accelerated speed. The years of having a really solid think tank of air gun enthusiasts which was my draw from the start, really had evaporated. That's not saying that level of sharing & development is happening here  but there is more going on within AGN than the GTA in recent years. Stuck in a time warp I suppose and miss the past .....
Not to sound like a snob, it is just a very large part of my personality to "Think" about what's possible & go figure it out with others by doing the R&D for a tway to make it happen and share that journey & its results
I’m always thankful for you and your knowledge!
