Why do magazines for Daystste rifles cost so much?

What would make the high cost more palatable is increasing their capacity. 10 shots is pretty meager these days.

Daystate is one of the best. of course the magazines are going to cost a lot more. Also Never buy aftermarket or third part mags. If the rifle gets damage, Daystate might not fix it.
