Why do most new flagship PCPs from various manufacturers look FX Impact-alike?

Tactical aesthetics are not copyrighted by FX, Daystate, Airforce, RTI or any other black airgun manufacturer.....and they are all copying the M4/AR-15 platform in one way or another. Synthetic polymer stocks or aluminum chassis are far cheaper to produce than wooded stocks that are well made like the Corcoran variants. But that costs more. Different strokes for different folks. Personally I love the Airforce Talonp type "black" airguns for hunting per weight and reliability. Other times I prefer a wooden stock because I like the traditional rifle look. But other than these rifles being black, there are major differences in the inside.
