Wierd thing happened to my airgun

My new airgun (break barrel .22 gamo mach fusion mach 1) which has less than 40 shots. I went to put a pellet in it and fired, but it sounded like I dried fired it. I either missed or something but it didn't hit my target which was like 4 feet away. I might be tweaking too, but the next shot was super weak, because I shot a tin can and it only dented. OR I hit somewhere else (because it has a lot of holes) and I saw the dent and thought it was where I shot.

I kept shooting some more and it was fine and stuff.

Am I tweaking?

Or by maybe closing the barrel the pellet fell down or something, I'm not sure. It's back to normal still powerful
I've had a pellet just slightly smaller apparently than the others in the tin fall out when closing the action. I'm sure you're fine if it's performance is back to normal.

I mean hopefully the the factory didnt make a .17 pellet lmao. I did remember pushing it in kinda hard with my thumb, it has to have fell off. Or maybe it dieseled and I just missed. Or maybe I'm going schizo or something
It's happened . I've pinch out a .177 sized pellets and put it in to find it just rolled down the barrel and hit the ground ..

Being new is just go fo factory assembly oil just worked in or maybe a little piston seal excess just blew out .

Bro I literally orded some Daisy pellets and they sent me some Benjamin pellets in this cool looking black tin. They were 9 bucks for 500, and they are basically the same as the 15$ crosman hp. They gotta get their stuff right. I don't mind what brand really but amazon is wilding
