Tuning Wika Gauge for Edgun Lelya

The EDMU is DOA. First it kept scrolling through all the menus when trying to get just bar remaiing. Watched videos and took it apart , replaced battery, and 'reset' it. I took it off the air tube so you know that the tube was empty during replacement. It doesn't scroll anymore but shows >5 when I ask for pressure inside and the gauge and the Great White indicates there is 200 bar inside the tube. Searched here and and the posts about it start in 2017 if I remember correctly. I have determined the gauge is a POS that shouldn't have ever benn on that gun. I am looking for a WIKA, other than from the EU and Edgun West, that can replace the EDMU. Also looking for another US supplier of parts other than EdGun West.

If you know of a fix I might keep it but really want to get rid of it and put in an analog gauge that you can count on. Searching the web the only place I can find to get one is from the EU. I suspect if I knew the product number of the gauge that fits they Lelya I could order one from WIKA itself. Pretty sure EGW won't help with that.

Try leaving the battery out for a couple of days maybe a week and try again.

My BMW 5 series at less than 50k miles just past warranty (ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS THE CASE!) Even my diagnostic readers couldn't decipher any no start or mechanical issues so I said screw it and bought another Toyota and had the Bimmer just parked so many issues with electronics parked 6 months without battery fired right up after its resting. A Honda Pilot similar Xmas lights all lighted up like Xmas tree in the dash instrument cluster my diagnosis code readers couldn't shut them off to reset after no known issues no codes thrown! and so the HONDA dealer upon diagnosis out of warranty (UH-HUH YUP!) said I needed an expensive 2-3k instrument panel nothing mechanically wrong so after 6 months with its battery unhooked the all lights turned off by themselves and ran just fine.

Concur. Contact Brian at Edgun West for help. He has Wika gauges for most Edgun products.

The EDMU tried to do too much...simply put. All we really needed was current psi, and number of shot remaining. If it displayed both, one above the other...it would have been perfection for 99% of air gun shooters.

Anything further could and should be determined on a different platform away from the air gun.

My thoughts, your mileage may vary...

Merry Christmas/Assorted Holidays to all...
