Moved into my new house a few months ago and have recently worked on setting up my air rifle range. Since I have seen some others posting their ranges I thought you guys would enjoy seeing mine. The video starts out showing some groups I shot at 72 yards with my FX Wildcat .25 cal. and then some of my target frames and steel targets. Of course I have some ideas for other cool target I hope to come in time. Airgun Bill

At one time I knew. If I get the chance I will check it out for you. As I remember it came off the regulator at about 145 bar.

I checked out my shot count and from a 230 bar fill I get 52 shots at an average of 810 fps with the JSB 33.95 grain before coming off the regulator at 135 bar. I took this reading using the gauge on my CF Great White tank. There is about 5 bar difference between the fill tank and the rifles gauge.

52 shots on the reg for a .25 cal is awesome. That's mind boggling to me. My matador gets about 34 shots on the reg. I could still shoot 12 more shots by holding over just a bit but I will usually shoot three mags then refill.

Nice shooting AGBill. That's about the way my WC shoots as well. I have noticed that my groups tighten up after pulling 2-3 patches through it every 100 or so pellets. Another thing that I think happens when shooting a bipod with the synthetic stock is that if you keep tension on the bipod by pulling the gun back and loading the bipod at the shot that my groups open up a little. If I keep the bipod in a neutral load my groups seem to be better. The synthetic is soft enough that it puts extra pressure on the bottom of the air tube. Maybe just a coincident but there may be some influence. Have you thought about or have you tried getting more speed out of the gun to shoot the heavies faster/flatter? I was going to speed mine up a few days ago but my Loctite was working too good. Figured I'd leave her be and just shoot the Kings at 900.
Oh, by the way, I love your range, a really beautiful place you have there. I'm envious of you guys that have all the beautiful trees and green pastures. SE New Mexico isn't quite know for its abundance of trees. lol.

Thanks Jimmy, I was in Albuquerque a few years back and to Nebraska and Colorado to shoot prairie dogs. I find the desert quite beautiful too in its landscape and flora. You guys though have to deal with more constant winds out there. Before I moved into my house I was limited in the time I spent shooting and learning my various rifles ins and outs. Now it is so easy to go out and shoot paper or steel. This evening in determining shot count I shot on paper again and shrunk my groups a little more. I finding more times I can print a nice cloverleaf at my 72 yard target before it opens up some. Bill
