Tuning Wildcat 3 mistake already

I have a new question. I see no difference with or without the donnyfl. I went through 3 magazines today and it seems to be working correctly. But it seems very loud whether the donnyfl is on or off. When I fire it the noise seems to be popping out near the rear. I took the magazine out and dry fired it and I see a blast of air puffing out where the magazine fits. Is this normal or do I have a problem of some sort?

Probably damaged breech seal O-ring. A simple fix. Go to FX website, under support find schematics for your rifle, find breech seal ring size, order 20 from The O-Ring Store online, and you'll have them in 2 days.

Got my o rings. I watched AOA video on replacement.

Do I need to release air for this chore? The video does not say I do neither did Chrisis’s excellent description and the pressure gauge looks to still have plenty of air but I just want to make sure.

Are there any other things I should look out for? It looks like a pretty simple job. 
Should I lubricate the o ring?

Make sure you add some silicon grease on the orings. Don’t need to do let the air you, to make the job easier just take the barrel out. 


it’s not a bad ideal put a small dab of silicon grease on the probe once a while to keep the oring lubed and seals tight.

oil is too thin and won’t stay for long. Just get any good quality silicon grease, they can be found in any auto parts stores or just amazon.

Thanks everyone for all the help. The barrel came out just like you said. I found there was no o ring in the groove inside the bareel. Probably why it was so loud and blew air out the breach. I am sure it happenned when I pushed out all the jammed pellets.

The hardest part was gettin the new rimg in the groove.
