So I get up this morning and AOA calls me at 0740. Hey, your Wildcat .22 is in. SO, I grab my coffee and run to AOA. Kip checks her out and out the door I go, happy as a camper after 2.5 month wait. Stopped at Sports Chalet to get air in my tank and the guy that fills isn't in until 2pm (Bummer) its just above 200 bar on the gun. Pulled the Hawke off the Air Ranger and on she went. Sighted it in at 25 in 6 shots, Took it out to 50. Guessed 1 mil hold over, BAM, Target center. WOOHOO. Its hole in hole at 25. I still have to find the pellet it eats best but a test pack is coming. What I shot was real quick with some Barracudas that I had. I picked up a UTG 32 inch case several weeks ago and it fits perfect with all four stackable Air Strippers attached And the scope. I shot 4 Mags just playing before it dropped of the regulator, and that was with it just over 200 bar. I need to buy stock in pellet company. Also have to put the Atlas Rail on tonight. Anyway, Some pics.

PS, get real tall scope rings, Med are to short. I have to smash my face against the cheek rest.

Quick 50 yard, 5shot holdover. right around 120 bar with slight wind. No really, it was probably me so excited and not paying attention.

 
Congrats on this beauty! Still hoping mine arrives till the end of 2015 :) 
I see yours has a shorter shroud (not counting additional baffles), I like it better that the version I see shipped in Europe.

While you are at it, could you please check the matherial air tube/its cover is made of? I wonder if a magnet would stick to it (as I am considering a magnetic clamp for flashlight attachment for mine).

No problem, Hope you get it square. I just got in from the shop. Installed the Atlas 3.5 inch rail with QD hole. Easy as pie. I ordered the install hardware with it but Ace carries the same stuff. Nice and solid. I also found a set of new Vortex High rings in a bag in the shop. Sweet. Grabbed my UTG adapters and on went the scope again. Perfect height !!!!!!!!!



The dark on the mount is oil.

It has a very distinct first stage and a nice consistent second. It is fairly light but decent for hunting as it comes from the factory. I lightened the second just a tad for me. Its very smooth. When lightening it, It doesnt take much. I went a half turn and it turned into a single stage, no take up. 1/4 turn back and it was perfect with a distinct first and light second. One of the nicer triggers Ive pulled. I like that you can angle the blade. I cocked it just a hair and my finger is flat without feeling the edges of the trigger. Im going to get it on the Crony today after I work horses.

Great to hear you finally got your wildcat. They are GREAT guns. I picked up a 22 and a 25 wildcat at EBR this year. I absolutely love this 22. It's one of those guns I'm never going to sell. Have not run it on the crony yet. i've just been shooting it the way it came other then adjusting the trigger a bit. Mine is the most accurate airgun I've ever owned shooting the JSB 15.89 grain. The 18.13 are almost as accurate and it absolutely hates the 13.43. Mine came with only one stack-on moderator. If you get a chance it would be interesting to know your impression adding them one at a time. Don't know if it's worth adding any more. Really like your mag storage. I need to get one. Where did it come from? I plan on doing some crony work and it will be interesting to compare them to others out of the box. The only thing I have noticed on mine was the piece that indexes the mag was putting a scratch on the outside of the mag. Had a sharp corner that I polished and problem was solved. My air tube sits in the center of my stock, but if I loosen the two mounting screws and push it off center and tighten it back up it will be off center slightly. Regarding the guy with the one off center I would simply try loosing your screws, centering and retightening them. As for the 25, I have shot it vary little. Just got some MK II's and did a comparison. Ill put that in another post. Enjoy and keep us posted.

Ive had several .22s. Long rifle springers mostly.I do prefer a .25 and Im looking to trade a Daystate Air Ranger .25 for a bullpup .25. I live in the desert and hunt out of my truck mostly, so the Bullpup design is preferable for swinging around the cab. I also own small horse farm which lends itself to lots of pests. The .22 is perfect for it and I can shoot squirrels from my back porch or out the back window, 75 yards to the barn. Doesn't scare the horses either. I nailed a squirrel coming out of the feed room and the horses actually came over to check him out because he was flopping around from the head shot, they never flinched at the shot. Its light maneuverable. Im 6'3 and this little Wildcat still fits OK. My daughter can also shoot it. Soooo, its the best .22 Ive ever had and so far, I love it. The Wildcat design is cool and works well (so far). I'm not a brand guy either. FX, Daystate, Cricket, Vulcan. They all have + and - . Id actually like to get a Vulcan or Cricket .25. I hope to find someone to trade for a .25 soon. Ill be in seventh heaven with both.

I just went out and tested it, one stack at a time. None is loud, One is Ok, 2 works decent, and I didn't notice a change between 2 and all 3. I didn't have a meter either, Just my ears. Daughter said the same thing. More noise from the rear than the front. But your ear is resting there. I'm going to have her shoot and I'm going to walk off about 50 yards and see how it is, tomorrow.

nvelkhunter. Thats a good question. I bought both 22 and 25 because they had them while I was at AOA and I could. I have shot maybe 5 tins thru the 22 and only half a tin thru the 25. The 25 did not seem as smooth in the cocking action as the 22 which is just like glass, but I was shooting the Mk I heavies and they have a bigger shirt and are known to drag a little. It shoots them fine though. With the 25 grain and the new MK II heavies I would say it is almost as smooth cocking. If I hadn't shot them side by side I would probably say they were both the same. I would say the accuracy is the same. GREAT! The wildcat is exceptional. The 22 is a little shorter and just seems to fit for me. I also shoot a lot around the farm and with the 22 I have less worry about knocking a hole in one of the roofs. I've shot starlings, pidgins and rock chucks with both out to about 75 yards. What can I say. Dead is dead. I also have a Boss 30 for a bench rest gun. It just dismembers the birds. I guess if I had to chose between the 22 and 25 I would keep the 22, but that's just me. I will probably end up trading or selling the 25 and getting a 25 Impact just because it's different. I was once told the only logical reason we buy airplanes, boats, guns and such is because "WE WANT IT"
