Here is a problem I had with my new Wildcat Compact and the fix for those who might have the same issue.
I ordered my gun with an extra magazine. One mag worked perfectly and the other was very hard to insert or remove from the gun, was difficult to rotate by hand and would pop out a little when cocking, causing misalignment. Since one worked great I assumed the problem was with the second magazine. I measured both and one was slightly thicker, .001". I contacted FX and it was replaced promptly. However the replacement mag was worse,
I then started looking at the gun and noticed a slight ridge where the barrel is inserted into the receiver and was likely causing the poor fit. I found a video on how to remove the barrel and realized that I could just slide it out slightly and tighten the set screws to lock in place. Now both mags fit and cycle perfectly.
